Kholboy Khonqulov built and put into operation the Youth Center at his own expense in the village of Qatagon, Kasbi district, where he grew up. A library, an information resource center, a reading room, computer literacy rooms and others were created in the youth center to create favorable conditions for development of the intellectual potential of young people.
The library of the Youth Center was created on the basis of Khonqulov’s personal library fund and at present the library has more than 15.000 different types of literature, and it is always occupied by the youth of Qatagon village and other villages.In many ways, enrichment of the library fund is carried out by the efforts of people who care about the well-being of young people.
It is well known that the video conference held on March 19, 2019, under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Mirziyoyev, discussed the issues of raising the level of youth, organizing their busy time and developing the readership. At the meeting, the head of state noted the importance of raising the level of population, especially young people. “If each manager gives books from his own library to the school library where he studied, this is a good initiative. The development of reading has a positive effect on the upbringing of our children, "he said. Supporting this initiative, U. Khonqulov, chief social development specialist of Shurtan gas chemical complex, replenishes the library of the Youth Center Kholboy-ota with literature created by his father Kholboy Khonqulov in the village of Qatagon in Kasbi district of Kashkadarya region, and regularly organizes various activities in this youth center.
He gifted more than 200 books to secondary school No. 3 and the Maymanok industrial college located in Kasbi district.
We believe that these books will help increase the intellectual potential of the future knowledge of people living in remote areas, especially the younger generation, to further expand their spiritual horizons, innovations and prosperity for the benefit of our Motherland.
